Jon gained his Ph.D. at the University of Warwick before moving to the USA to become a postdoctoral researcher in the graphene group at the University of Austin, Texas.
Joining Moorfield in 2012, Jon entered as Product Manager for the new graphene line. Before his promotion to MD, he was previously Technical Director (since 2014) and also responsible for leading business development within the company.
Commenting on his new role Jon said “I am delighted to have the opportunity to help move the business forward over the coming years. The team here have built a very competitive product line and this is giving us success in the market which we intend to capitalise on and further expand the business”
Former Managing Director Jonathan Whitehead will now take the position of company chairman.
