| Minitorr is
a novel data system upgrade product manufactured in the
UK. The existing QMS control unit is replaced by a desk mount Minitorr
unit which
acts as the logic interface between the PC and the QMS
head. The logic unit is controlled via a parallel interface
by the PC. The software is
everything that one would expect from a Windows based
suite; Analogue ( raw data ) mode, Histogram, MID ( ion v
time), MCD ( concentration v time), task automation,
remote user control / modem link allowing remote control
of QMS and direct telephone technical support.
Pricing includes refurbishment ( but not repair) of
the quadrupole head and tuning/ setup of the new controller/RF head
and cable set.
