Analyser Refurbishment
and Re-Calibration Service
| Over a period of time,
the sensitivity of your analyser and the resolution will
degrade as a result of contamination. Our refurbishment service ensures that your system is returned to its
original factory specification, all this for a fraction
of the cost. |

Here is what you

- Source electrodes
cleaned or replaced
- Filaments cleaned or
replaced
- The analyser stripped
and cleaned
- Pre-set adjustments on
all electronics checked and optimised
- Full test to original
specification on an oil-free system
- A full report and the
test spectra are returned with the machine
- All systems dispatched
on a next day delivery service
| Analyser refurbishment will correct 90% of all
performance problems. It does not include electronic
repair, SEM or feedthrough replacement. We can offer
these services individually, or with a refurbishment
at discounted rates. |
SEM Replacement
The Secondary
Electron Multipliers which are fitted
to many instruments which will degrade with time. We
can replace all types of SEM as an individual
operation, or as part of a full refurbishment and
re-calibration.
Electronics
Repair
We can repair
almost any electronic fault. Most faults are
relatively minor and can be corrected at all our
inclusive minimum charge or economic hourly rates. As
with our other services, we offer discount if this
work is undertaken during re-calibration.
Latest
Modification State
For a small
additional charge, many units can be upgraded to
include the lates electronic, mechanical, and
software modifications during repair.
Re-Filamenting
Service
If your instrument has tungsten filaments, we can
re-filament your existing mounting plates for a
fraction of the cost of a new filament assembly. Your
existing mounting plate will be cleaned, checked for
electrical integrity, and the new wires fitted. Your
new filament will then be de-gassed and soak tested
for 24 hours.
