How to Order...

All orders should state your organisation order number, shipment address, billing address, date, name and contact number of the authorisation to place order, Moorfield's part number, quantity and total value. For EC customers a valid sales tax ( VAT, TVA etc) code is also required. 

If your organisation is an EU academic laboratory, then a credit account will be authorised upon email request and receipt of an official purchase order. For other territories and organisations, please contact us directly. Other options are proforma and/ or credit card payments....

Paypal  credit card payments and how it all  works..

Paypal is a secure third party internet credit card payment and money transfer system that we utilise in order to accept customer credit and debit card transactions. Only registered persons / organisations can send or accept such payments. It is free to register.

When the customer orders a product, Moorfield notify that customer by email at the time of shipment that payment is due. This email is sent to the customer via the Paypal system. When the customer authorises the card payment, a reciprocal email is sent to the supplier ( Moorfield in this case) giving notification that the payment has been authorised. The supplier then has to accept it in order for the payment to transfer. This enables the supplier to time the transfer exactly at the date of shipment.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE:

Vacuum Components:

All product is offered on the following terms: Prices: Ex Works Knutsford, UK. Exclude sales taxes, importation and customs duties, freight, carriage, packing and insurance charges. Unless otherwise requested goods will be shipped by our own national ( Parcel Force) or international carriers (UPS / FedEx) and charged at cost. For UK shipments goods are sent for next day delivery (subject to stock), international deliveries vary. Please request courier service if expediency is required.

Credit: all orders to be prepaid unless your organisation has an existing credit account with Moorfield Associates or you are a bonefide academic or government laboratory residing within the EC. Any EC academic institution that does not conform to the agreed payment terms ( net 30 days) will, for future transactions, be placed on a strict proforma basis. For non account customers, a proforma invoice will be issued on receipt of your order or you can pay via credit card or Paypal. Goods will be shipped after clearance of funds.

Damaged goods: Goods that have been received in a damaged condition should be notified to Moorfield Associates within 24 hours of receipt of the goods ( i.e. the sign off date / time on the carriers proof of delivery sheet). Shipments which are not notified to us as being received in a damaged condition within the 24 hour window may not be eligible for refund under the terms of our insurance policy. To notify us of a damaged shipment, email us at info @ moorfield.co.uk ( remove the spaces)

Returns: All product requires a Return Material Authorisation Number (RMA) prior to despatch. Please email, phone or fax request this.

Foreign Currency Pricing - For customers wishing to purchase in US Dollar currency or Euro, please note that the prices listed use the exchange rates  AS A GUIDE ONLY. Please check for actual rates at the time of order. Note that all foreign payments to be made via PAYPAL, SWIFT or wire transfer, details are included on the proforma invoice that will follow any orders received.
